I hope the committee doesn't punish State if they lose to bama.

They should only drop to #4. I am not saying they will lose because they are likely gonna win but if they drop a close one I don't want to see them get fricked.

I am not bad mouthing my team bros. It is just that state dominated when they played lsu and auburn. They played down to their competion in other games but they are a great team. I think we can hang with em but don't fool yourself, they are gonna be the best team we play this year. Roll Tide.

No. We want to beat them so bad that the committee takes them out completely. I only want to play them once because they are a really good team.

If the game is really close-They may drop only to 4th but I doubt it. State does not have the football equity Bama has.

They will drop. There OOC schedule will catch up to them. Also their best win are Auburn and LSU. Decent, but MSU is running out if gas.

If the game doesn't get out of hand, and State beats Ole Miss, they're in....ALL 1-loss SEC teams make the playoffs.

Don't forget if Alabama loses one more game to Auburn despite a win and State wins out, State's going to Atlanta anyway and probably smoking any mediocre East team

Honestly, if Bama wins, State should still be ranked number 2 with Bama at 1. Both will still have better resumes than Oregon.

I doubt the committee will be as forgiving to state if they lose as they have been to other teams with more clout.

I second this because their OOC schedule blows. It is evident that the committee is not afraid of movement within the top 8 or so by dropping FSU to 3. I have a suspicion that they are positioning the teams in the west to only get the SEC champ into the playoff. They know that the West will eat their own and that previous top 4s were just window dressing with Ole Miss and Auburn present. I just don't see two SEC teams getting in even though I think two deserve to be there.
