Thinks Gus is in over his head. Prolly needs another three years or so of experience before he will be ready for the big spot light on a consistent basis. If so, will he last that long?

Gimmick offense exposed.

A large majority of current SEC coaches are in over their heads. Not just Gus.

what'd he do that you don't like him enough to call him a great buddy, or best buddy?
Go to auburn?

Not if he has losing seasons this year and next.

I don't think this has anything to do with Gus not being ready for prime time.
I am confused about his decisions this year, but I don't think experience is the issue at all.

not sure it is a gimmick O. It relies on misdirection and option but it is successful only with a running QB and a strong running game

I hope AU doesn't rush into firing a really good young coach before he can get his young players the time it takes to learn how to line up and play SEC football.
So yes he needs 3-4 years for his young players to catch on.

The running QB thing is overplayed, but it would be useful this season. I think Gus would tell you he needs a mobile QB, but not a really big threat to run.

I am a fan of Gus like was was Chiz. Give him a life time contract. U can always pay it off with the deep pockets at Colonial Bank

Time to call Jimmy Sexton and see what he's got on the lot.
