I hate to say this, but I am pulling for Alabama

Let them have it. They deserve it. That is a great football team and you have to give them respect. My kids were running down Alabama last night during the game (because we all hate Alabama) and I stopped them and told them not to be like that. You can hate a team, but give respect where it is due. Don't be like that. Objectively, this is an amazing team with a great coach and staff.
Why would I want Clemson to win? If there was ever a year for Alabama to win it all, it is this year. It isn't like that farce in 2011 or anything.
So, yes, I will pull for Alabama. I cannot believe I am saying that, but they deserve my support.

I won't really pull for them, But you have to admit that what Saban has done at Bama YEAR AFTER YEAR is amazing in this day and age.......... I would like to see Clemson win... But Bama just seems too strong and Saban and Smart will find a way to slow down Watson enough to pull it out........

Honestly they have been playing so good, I dont think anyone can beat them.I just dont want LSU to have to face that defense again next year.

Yea I'd hope bama can win the NC w/out me "pulling for them".
One of the great things about being a sports fan in this country, at least until the SJW/Statist types create laws to change it, is you can support a team as much or as little as you want.
If you want the SEC to be "the best" conference, it would be kind of stupid of you to want Bama to lose to clemson, not that doing stupid stuff isn't also a big part of being "a fan".

If you try to play their game against them like UGA, LSU, and Mich St.
Bama is very beatable if you play with tempo, spread them out, have a fantastic QB (preferably one who can run) and have playmakers on the outside. Guess who checks all of those boxes? Biggest question is now playmakers on the outside with Williams injury and Cain being sent home but they are still decent at receiver.
Add in probably the 2nd best DL in the country and a lockdown corner and Clemson has everything it takes to beat alabama. It should be a great game.

Why do they deserve it more the Clemson? Clemson has been the better team all season thus far and didn't lose to Ole Miss or need an absolute fluke in a game not even involving them to be here.

I thought I'd never pull for bama, but I am for this one. I cannot stand Clemson. They copy the name of our stadium, our fight songs and our mascot. I hope Bama puts their sorry over rated butts in their place.

There are a lot of solid posts like this from real LSU fans, the truly good sports fans. It is the reason I've learned to really like another fan base. I'm sure I'd have found a way to like another fan base of this were a site that is 50% one team heavy lean... but I found this site.
I have never been to really any away games. I'm lazy like that. I dig my tv, bathroom, ribs, food etc. But I DAMN sure wanna go tailgate with some of y'all one day in Baton Rouge and see a game at Tiger Stadium!
Gotta love reminders from other fan bases that rivalries don't have to solely perpetuate negative energy!
