But the title game will consist of Gonzaga and North Carolina. As much as I'd like to see an SC NC match up, it just isn't going to happen. That's just how it goes in the Final Four. Good run though.

I think he meant 1 seeds and cinderella teams / seeds usually not making it past the final 4 with only a few exceptions...

That doesn't make any sense unless you just mean they are not a historical blue blood, which doesn't really have an effect on this year. They are a 1 seed and have lost 1 game this season. Its certainly not impossible for South Carolina to win and they are playing great basketball right now, but both history and vegas indicate it is definitely an uphill battle.

I think you glossed over the "not far removed" part. They are a 1 seed. But they're also going to this stage for the first time ever, same as us.
