I hate the way every one is saying Alabama

Should be #2 when overrated Georgia were #3 to begin with.
Alabama were ranked 8 and everyone is saying move them to the number 2 spot ignoring LSU, Missouri and Texas.
If you are going to do that, why not move Ole Miss to #4 for beating Florida and move Oregon St to #2 for beating USC.
You guys forgot or didn't watch the S. Carolina/Georgia game. The gamecocks were one mistake from dropping Georgia two weeks ago.

ok and LSU's best team so far is Auburn
Auburn was a play away from losing to Moo State and was also overrated when we played them last week

The drive by lovefest for Satan is the only reason they will jump us. IMO. Not because they are better. AU was #8 when we won on the road which = Bamas win!

My point is not to say LSU is far superior. Bama at this point has played a much tougher schedule and has played better than expected, but for every Clemson/UGA beatdown, they've had a Tulane game. That was my point.
LSU is still developing, and they need to improve on the LB play and their DL contain, but otherwise pretty solid.

Can't you see, it is a hot news story and it is their media darling,"lil'baby boy Saban" leading it. They are going to push and push for this and stranger things have happened than what is it they seem to be seeking and that is Bama at #2 right now vaulting right over everyone they trailed last week.
God help me I live in Alabama and the misery I will have to endure having to listening to the gloating and deception of the Bama fans I fear will be nothing short of arduous.
They have already forgotten that Auburn has kicked their asses the last 6 years in a row, and openly there is talk about a "substansial pay raise" for Nick that is most deserved.
They should move up some, but not to #2.

Auburn's offense regressed today. It still wasn't great against us, and honestly not very good. We contained the run fairly well, but our coverage broke down for several big plays. More than half their offense came on 6 big passing plays (around 150 yards).
Tigers need to get better communication on defense, and the fast pace screwed us up. Not having Beckwith on the field is hurting us. He's a leader and can line people up. This is disturbing as others should be able to at least do it decently, but they don't.

Did you even watch these games or know anything about how they were playing in those games.
It wasn't about beating the crap out of our opponents its about improving while we move along. We probably substituted a lot of players in the Miss st.
The UNT and Appy St games were about finding a rythem in our QBs.

Bama will not jump us, tejas, or mizzou...if you noticed today, four SEC teams played flat: Auburn, LSU, Tennessee, and Florida.
Bama played flat against Tulane the week after beating Clemson...they will play flat next week. Also, how big is Bama's win over Clemson now that Clemson lost again at home to unranked Maryland?

I say make Bama #1 right now. It really doesn't affect LSU one bit. As long as we are in the top 5 it is cool. LSU has a lot of football to play and things will work out. I would love Bama to have the target of #1 or #2 on their backs!
