Hold on, they showed up to the scene of the accident and arrested two people, and that somehow leads you to conclude that they're "allowing" this to happen?
You don't know dick about OPD if you think they're at all lenient.

I agree with you about losing a friend to somebody who was UI. We don't have any control over what these athletes are doing in the private lives, all we ask is that if u are going to do something stupid just don't get behind the wheel of a vehicle or do something to bring attention to yourself or your program

(FWIW, I totally agree with your sentiment. I just think it's lame as frick that you come in here acting as if you're some sort of moral arbiter with this novel concept of encouraging people to not drive under the influence.)

The TV series is awesome, the books are great. If you have time you should dive into those.

A lot of times cops will target people deliberately going a few miles under the speed limit late at night to see if they are drunk. It's bullshite.

Happened to me on the Natchez Trace in Madison once. I was going the speed limit and sober as a damn judge. I probably looked wasted because I was tired. Got breathalized and all that shite. Cop looked like a dumbass.

Small town cops get giddy when they think they have a DUI. A Starkville cop was legitimately angry when I blew clean on a breathalyzer. They are pricks.

Cops get angry when they can't bust you. Some ABC agents followed me to my car in an Albertson's parking lot to see if I was buying booze for the tailgate and they were polite until they realized the case they saw in the front seat was empty.
