I forgot how one-sided the last game was between Alabama and Kentucky in 2013

Bama ran for 299 yards with two 100 yard rushers (Yeldon and Drake)

Bama passed for 369 yards (McCarron averaged over 10 YPA) compared to Kentucky's 76 passing yards

Bama out-gained Kentucky in total yardage 668-170

Bama had 35 first downs to Kentucky's 13

The crazy thing is Kentucky committed zero turnovers while Bama committed two turnovers that were both inside the red zone. If Bama had been able to win the turnover battle, they probably could have won by 60 points or more. That game might have been the brutal one-sided beating between two Power 5 teams in the same conference since Oklahoma-Texas A&M in 2003.

Since these two first played in 1917 UK has won twice. Now they have never played every year but dam. Until Kentucky's win in 97 they hadn't beaten Bama since 1922. twice, you've only beaten a team, in your conference, twice.

We shat the bed in the first quarter. The score was 0-0 after the first 15 minutes. We would have had over 700 yards of total offense for the game if not for those turnovers and dropped passes in Kentucky territory in those first few drives.

Iowa State's 34-0 domination of Kansas in 2013 wasn't quite as one-sided but it is notable as ISU was 3-9 that season. How often does a team that bad blow out another P5 conference team? Couldn't have happened many times in "modern" cfb history.

Iowa State lost to Baylor 71-7 that same year

They've scored just 96 points overall in 21 road games against Bama.

That's 4.5 points a game

Kentucky's win in 97

Thanks again Dubose. 75 years without a loss to UK and he screws the pooch.

Even with the conference championship in 99, that was the worst coaching tenure since Ears.
