Ours is since 2008-2016. Not over 20 years, and you didn't win. You got your arse beat. Roll Tide!

In every season from 2008 to 2015 with exception being 2010, Alabama has been no more than 2 wins away at the end of the season from playing for the National Championship.

2008 - 2 wins away
2009 - won it all
2010 - out of contention after loss to LSU
2011 - won it all
2012 - won it all
2013 - 2 wins away
2014 - 1 win away
2015 - won it all

2008 was 1 win away from playing for the National championship. Beat Florida in the SECCG and we're in.

No you see if alabama didnt win vs LSU(2011),
But they didn't.
quote:

they(LSU) would have the same amount of titles(A.S.) as Bama(since 1995)
And they don't.

Also, the OP mentioned not understanding the "Alabama Dynasty," and predicated that lack of understanding on a hypothetical victory: If Alabama had lost (in 2011), then they wouldn't have a dynasty. (Left understood is that since Alabama did win, they do have a dynasty.)

So yeah, basically, if Alabama didn't have a dynasty, then they wouldn't have a dynasty.

Sort of like how if I had a vagina, uterus and ovaries, I would be capable of bearing children. I don't, so I can't. The OP is stupid and his post is fricking garbage.

What's not to understand?

From 2008-Present, the Alabama Crimson Tide has amassed the following:

- A 98-12 overall record (.890)
- A 56-8 in-conference record (.875)
- 4 national championships
- 4 SEC championships
- 2 Heisman Trophy winners
- 37 All-Americans

well there isn't really a whole lot to explain about it. It's really simple.

Bama won it though. From 09 til 15, 4 NCs is a enough to make a dynasty compared to the other teams people call dynasties. You may not agree with the NCAA or how they got them but they did. 4 out of 7 is impressive.

Lately? For real? This Alabama shite has been going on for 8 years now. 8 years ago I was in fricking high school and I'm now a year from finishing grad school. That's not lately

wow. i have never seen a thread with 3 pages of replies generate an insult from every single poster within it.

that's quite an achievement. i feel bad for how bad this guy must feel. better carefully craft your post before submitting here, man. this is one ruthless community.

still deserving of being mocked to be sure. op just 100% full-on simple jack with that one. i don't understand how anyone could not call alabama a dynasty after 4/7. i accepted it before the fourth title. i honestly thought the dynasty would end in athens last season, as it arrived in 2008...instead, they apparently played a large part in ending an era for my dawgs.

Well the dawgs have never had one. Richt was a good coach but never accomplished anything past beating Auburn.

i never said the dawgs had one? i'm a very humble georgia fan. i wasn't implying anything other than the op made a very bad post that was sure to be ripped apart.

georgia has had their moments. less than some, more than most. they have always been approximately a top-20 football program throughout their existence and have given me plenty to cheer about.

football programs that have celebrated true dynasties are few and far between. it's an elite club. i have the comfort of knowing that georgia is as capable as any other to be the next. hopefully they got rid of what was holding them back.

i was referring to the alabama dynasty. it pretty much announced its arrival by curb-stomping my dawgs in athens during the infamous blackout of 2008. i paid much more money than i should have to attend and haven't felt confident enough to make the trip again since.

alabama hurt us that night. and it lives on even now, as georgia refuses to bring back the black.

i thought that alabama's dynasty had made its national tour and was destined to die in athens last season. stupid prediction, i know. they hurt us again.

the hangovers from them skull-dragging us all over our own classic city are the reasons i'll be the first to admit that the alabama dynasty is a real thing that has caused me much pain.

Hey everyone, lay off the OP. We've all misunderstood him. He's not trying to say that he doesn't understand why Alabama is referred to as a dynasty. He's trying to say that he legitimately doesn't understand what the squiggly lines inside of the quotation marks mean. I doubt he can read much of what has been posted in reply, but if he can make out even 10% of it, then I'm sure he's sitting at his computer with tears running down his poor little mongoloid face, wondering why everyone is being so mean to him when he just wants some help.

Don't worry, little buddy. It would be silly of me to think I can help you with your reading by typing something for you to read, but hopefully you can understand this: go ask your adult education teacher. She'll help you with the hard words.

Winning 3 titles in 20 years isn't a dynasty, idiot.

And all LSU has is "what have you done for me lately." You damn sure didn't do anything before Saban.

Well...he did win multiple SEC Championships. But you are right about one thing. He did beat Auburn. Often.

Neither of these belong in any discussion of a dynasty. If 20 years is the measuring stick of a dynasty then, hell Alabama could have claimed they were in the midst of a dynasty while Mike Dubose was having losing seasons. 3 titles in the last 20 years baby!!
