Manning and the Broncos ran "picks" all season long.

I would've been pissed that the guy ran out of the end zone.

That's like idiots catching interceptions on 4th down.

They look nothing alike. You're watching double slants. Clemson ran an X concept.

The Bama DB bear hugged the receiver on that play ..

He created the pick himself

No it's not. There's no run option built in to that play, for starters. No sprint out. Learn the sport.

Damn you so mad you can't even see it's the same play. Different formations different action in the backfield but it's literally inside guy blocks outside guy runs a slant. The play was only going to the outside reciever on the slant.

Watson "rolling" to the right had no option to run the ball because there was only 6 seconds left. You can't risk a run play so the only target was renfrow. This time, outside reciever blocks and inside receiver runs an out/flare. Literally the same play but ran to the flats

No such thing as an outward slant.. they were not both slants

Patriots ran a twin slant, the less obvious version of the pick play. Clemson ran a completely different route concept. The outside guy blocked and the inside guy ran an out route. The only similarity is that it was a forward pass. Maybe you should post the gif of the Clemson play because you clearly don't remember it very well

Bro why are you arguing this. The inside reciever ran an out. The outside reciever ran a pick. He didn't run a route at all in NC.

The outside reciever runs a slant inside of the inside reciever. The inside reciever literally jogs forward. In the super bowl.

They are both pick plays, one ran to the outside and one ran to the inside. Wtf do you disagree with? That they are not in the same formation lol?

Except it wasn't a pick or a rub play. It may have been had the bama DB not tackled the guy 'making the pick.'
No one ever mentions that.......

A "pick" play looks like an X. Outside WR runs an inside slant, the inside WR runs an outside flare. If the cornerback and nickleback get tangled up (which they usually do), one of the receivers will be open.

A double slant looks like 2 slashes.
