I don't mind the perceived "disrespect" for Missouri.

1. Getting to ATL two years in a row is big for us, especially from a recruiting standpoint. I feel like last years run finally got the ball rolling. Lots of 4 stars and a 5. It helped us out a bunch, but yeah, I get it. Getting beat badly in those games doesn't mean you should demand respect.
I don't demand it, nor do I expect it.
2. We have a coach that has been on our sideline for almost 15 years, 15 years. Man, that's a long time in college football. However, I haven't felt completely comfortable with what he was trying to do until last year. He finally has my complete and unbridled trust. I believe this is probably true for the lot of us older Mizzou fans.
Just because I believe in him, doesn't mean the rest of the country will. He must win the big game in order to get over that hump. I get it.
3. frick Tennessee. They suck, and their QB doesn't have any eyebrows.
So, in closing, I'd like to say M-I-Z, and never trust a dude without eyebrows.

I'll never understand why Mizzou fans wanted Pinkel gone after his first SEC season. 15 years is a long time.

I've always loved LSU.
Dated a girl from Baton Rouge in another life. Learned a lot about LSU, enjoyed some time at Alex Box, and some other places I don't remember because I was in Louisiana. It was all about LSU, crawfish boils, lots of booze, and LSU every damn time we went down there.

That's a pretty big accomplishment being top of the division for two of the first three years in the conference. Also, consider that Mizzou has now been there two times more than the other team that joined at the same time!
