I don't get the Tua praise...

He looked pretty inaccurate. He should have been picked at least two more times. I thought Mac Jones looked much better.
I get it was no contact and that negates his legs, but based strictly on today's setting, I don't get it. He's got a weird delivery as well. Doesn't look to have a very strong arm either.

One of those TDs was pure luck. It easily should have been picked. It was behind the receiver and got tipped. The DBs dropped it and it ended up in a receivers hands.

It's not about not liking him, but in truth, the stat line should probably read 2 TDs and 4 INTs. Just wasn't crazily impressed. He looked like a true freshman to me. He's got plenty of time to develop and his passing ability would probably be helped by a contact scrimmage, but I wasn't that impressed.

Maybe his throws look funny to you because they spin the wrong way?
...but for what it's worth most Bama fans are excited he chose us to compete for the QB position. I think he had another offer or two.

I think Tua looked good today. Definitely think hes gonna be the starter over Hurts.
