The SEC is Alabama, then everyone else. Both sides are down until they aren't.

What was the last team to win the SEC from the East? Win the NC? How many teams aside from Alabama from the West have won the SEC or NC since an East team??

Should Ranters from the East pay a surcharge to post on the Rant?

That isn't really relevant to how good the teams are now.

And Bama let us down losing to the taters. Those of us who live amongst the taters (Gamecocks) are having to bear the burden of that loss. And our own loss to them. Tough time to be a Gamecock.

Well, it is. How good are the East teams then?

Have any other west teams won the conference (Not to mention national) championship since the last time an easy team won?

What is the head to head record of west v east teams over the last 10 years?

How mad does this make you?

The West's win-loss record against the East is astounding since 2009.

LSU winning the SEC in 2011 doesn't make them any better in 2017.

Results outside of Alabama games say roughly the same as the West teams.

You should absolutely let this man make it up to you. Preferably over the cold beverages of your choosing.

The West is still better from the top down.

This is patently false.

The SEC West has won seven of the last 14 titles. With three separate teams.

2016, excluding Alabama:
Georgia 1-1 (Beat Auburn, Lost to Ole Miss)
Florida 1-1 (Beat LSU, Lost to Arkansas)
Vanderbilt 1-1 (Beat Ole Miss, Lost to Auburn)
Missouri 1-1 (Beat Arky, Lost to LSU)
Kentucky 1-0 (Beat MSU)
Tennessee 0-1 (Lost to A&M)
South Carolina 0-2 (Lost to MSU, A&M)

You're right. Huge difference.

The West, minus Alabama, is 25-11 vs. the East over the last three years.

As I said, patently false.

Less than 25% of most teams were in college three years ago.
