Obviously bowl season will play a big factor in it considering the Vols demolishing that powerhouse Northwestern last year is what triggered their campaign.

But, right now, I can't think of any fan base that has any reason to be super optimistic going into next season I mean is it going to be fricking Kentucky? Are they even eligible for such an award?

LSU having the most posters won't help them because surely there will be some moron sunshine pumpers but if today's reaction is any indicator....there won't be many fricks given

If Franks looks good in the spring game we're a candidate

I think Florida will honestly be pretty solid next year, but they'll be lucky to score against Bama

Never underestimate the determination of the cajun spirit.

1.) LSU is the deepest, most experienced, GOAT team with the best coaches. Everyone is scared to play us.

...*LSU loses or wins a close game against an opponent that they should've demolished...*

2.) We can't beat Vandy and should fire everyone, including the parking attendants.

3.) Offense shows up against some directional school and...

(Repeat steps 1-3)

Idk man normally I agree with you and I'm an LSU fan. But the coaching changes board and rant today was quite the site to see

If we were to play our bowl game like we did agaisnt Ole Miss/Arky/A&M then yeah there would prob be plenty of obnoxious hype. But I'm pretty confident most of the fan base with a brain fully understands there are no division titles in our near future

If the Rebs and Shea looked great tonight they would've had a lot of momentum

But Ole Miss, Arky, Tennessee, and A&M who join LSU as the 5 most loud and obnoxious fan bases most offseasons ended their seasons about as bad as the fan base could've hoped for

Auburn or A&M landing Stidham would also be a likely favorite

Auburn could make a surprise offseason victory. Lots of talent returning. Gus could trick it though

Yeah Gators are a candidate but think what the mindset would be if Guice had gotten 1 more yard on that final play and the season ends with 3 (possibly 4) losses

Only reason I count yall out is cause historically there haven't been very man Gator fans on the board but the whole hurricane shitstorm did help bring in some new UF posters

Even if we land Stidham we will be large underdogs. Enthusiasm is at an all time low and the offseason championship, one of the few championships an Aggy can realistically think about winning (see the 2012-13 hardware over there?), seems out of reach this year

When we make our head coaching hire a year from now everyone better watch the frick out.

Yeah a nice auburn win in the bowl game gives them a lot of momentum. If they can land Stidham they'd be clear favorites as #2 in the west IMO

Which is just crazy to think about what the vibe was like after losing to Clemson and A&M early in the season

Lsu scores 30 or more points in bowl and I promise we will be ready to run away with the off season.

If I'm an Aggie I'm praying the rumors of Brian Kelly looking to move on from ND are true. If notre dame has to make a hire this offseason, I can't really think of any big programs that could be looking for a coach after next season making A&M the most coveted job.

Only one that immediately comes to mind is if Stoops were to call it quits in Norman. Seems like Helton has turned it around at USC.
