I answered a different question, but fair enough.

A lot of people do believe that Cornwell is the better prospect. He was a bigger recruit out of HS and they have been in Bama's program about the same length of time even though Cornwell is younger. Also, because Cornwell has up to 4 years left and Coker has one - if all things are equal it does make since to go with Cornwell at this point.

With all that said, nobody really knows how the competition is going. Saban nor Kiffin have come close to suggesting a starter.

but that's not what you asked- you asked if he had been named the starter and that answer was that people hope he eventually is named the starter.

i don't expect you to admit that- since you often make incorrect comments and then won't correct yourself when people call you out on them. you try to avoid acknowledging your errors by using terms like 'you mad' instead.

That all makes sense. I had not hear much about it and saw the BR article, so I figured that I would raise the topic over here.

That's great. I haven't seen enough of any of them in game situations to make an informed choice. The most I've seen of any of them was Harris at the Auburn game and that was abysmal against a mediocre defense. To be fair I wasn't very impressed with Coker last year either.

Harris does look like he has some potential though so nothing wrong with preferring him over the other two at this point.

So you can't comprehend what you were reading? Did you see the part about LSU not naming a starter until after McNeese?

I'd rather admit to trolling than to being mildly retarded.

The qb has never been a real issue for me under Saban. Again, Saban doesn't need an elite qb to win titles. I have said this plenty of times, but he won with Matt Mauk and McElroy. He just needs a qb that won't get you beat. I'm far more concerned with the rbs and secondary. I feel a little better since we have some first round talent at cb again, but who knows. I just want some damn football.

What does your depth look like at RB after Henry? I know that Bo is injured. Do you expect Harris to get significant playing time?

Drake, Harris. Scarbrough may be back by October.

Yea, like Nick is gonna come out and say that. Nick believe competition breeds success. He wont even give the press his starting lineups.

It's funny, we find out who is starting when the video screen announces them. We try to guess who they're gonna be.

No, this is probably not true.

I forgot about Drake. Lots of talent there, but I can understand the concern for this season.

Also, not sure why everybody was so high on Coker. If he couldn't start at FSU then why would he start at Bama. If he had transferred to JSU then ok but he was moving to a team that had high school all-american QB's already on the roster. I doubt Coker ever plays much honestly and yes Cornwell is a much better prospect and has the tools we look for. Make good decisions, secure the ball, move the sticks and don't make mistakes. Coker sometimes tries to show off that arm. Quarterbacking at Bama doesn't require you to be Cam Newton.
