I got a feeling about Tennessee and Mizzou

That Tennessee is going to win big. I don't think any SEC game this year will top this one in intensity. The Vols want this one as bad as Bama wanted the Mississippi State one.

The Vols are a proud program with one of the best won/loss percentages in the nation. And for the first time in a while they will be on center stage. In Knoxville, an absolute wicked place to play if the Vols are clicking.

Tennessee by 13 or thereabouts.

This seems a little dramatic for a Mizzou-Tenn game

Not for Tennessee. They see this game as recovering some much-needed respect.

I might agree about the intensity if the Vols were playing Florida, Bama, etc...

But, it's hard to be too intense about mizzou

I've said it in a few threads now, but this is the most excited I've been for a November football game since 2007. I think it's going to be a close, marginally low scoring affair. Both teams in the 20s, something like 28-24, either way.

Mizzou did lose to INDIANA. Sounds like UT has it wrapped up.

See, Jed is a knowledgeable poster and not used to football like he has had to sit through the past few years.

And he is excited. Most years Vols would have scheduled a Mizzou as a homecoming game. But not this one. I ain't gonna miss a minute.

I think I'm going to pull the trigger on a big ML bet for Mizzou at +160. At least win some money if they decide to be spoilers

Here's the way I see it:

Mizzou knows how to win when playing below average and TN is in the process of learning it. Now this doesn't guarantee a win but as of right now I believe we're the better team.

Honest question - did you have a feeling about the Mizzou vs. South Carolina game this year?

No, because Carolina has no defense to speak of. And Pinkel always has at least a couple/three defensive players who could play for anybody.

You're forgetting, though, that 50-year-old fat men with Fulmer crushes are not the ones who play the game. Teenagers play this game and most of them don't give a frick about Tee Martin.

Mizzou has more riding on this game than the Vols do. This game will be close and could go either way.
