Hypothetical: Would you contribute to a recruiting fund?

...used to pay off student-athletes to not sign with B1G schools (who host in-state recruiting camps in SEC territory with the intent of poaching talent)?*** Does anybody there any NCAA bylaws against negative recruiting by-offs? Does anybody care if there are such bylaws?
Also, we could pay student-athletes to NOT go to L$U, just to watch the KaiserSoze99-esque level meltdowns.***
Of course, if Shaq is telling the truth, and L$U throws around the kind of money he suggests, coming up with enough money would take deep pockets from all 13 other SEC programs and the price of oil would probably need to reach $120 a barrel, The kind of money Shaq insinuates makes me believe that this goes beyond L$U boosters. The State of Louisiana would have had to take out a bunch of government bonds.
***Dear NCAA and all other government or quasi-government authorities,
This thread is not an intended solicitation to violate any Federal, State, or Local laws, as well as any NCAA bylaws. It is intended as a fictitious, hypothetical discussion, and a good-natured ribbing of our L$U brethren after Mr. O'Neal admitted that the corndogs are a bunch of filthy cheaters.
Thank you,
frick you,
..and as always...
frick LSU.

Why are people, mainly SEC fans, making a big deal about BIG 10 schools having camps in the south?

Because, the more things change, the more they stay the same. Y'all are (and always have been) a bunch of carpetbagging weasels.

Isn't that what my Red Elephant dues are for?

It's a civil war thing.

Every time I buy powerball tickets I'm contributing to a recruiting fund because if I ever won the entire jackpot is going to 18 year old athletes to entice them on where I want them to take their talents

Do you lay in bed at night thinking of shite to say about LSU?
LSU has one of, if not the best recruiting staffs in the country. Not to mention that LSU has spent a lot of money keeping facilities up to date. It's really not that hard to imagine why LSU has success recruiting.

Which have resulted in bunches of 2-star and 3-star commitments to said schools.
I'm good.

How's A&Ms facilities helping them with recruiting? I'm curious.

You forgot to mention one important thing for some reason?
LSU is the only major program in one of the most talent rich states in the country.
I mean, that helps does it not?
Last time I looked LSU had something like 90% of their roster showing as having high-schooled in the state of Louisiana.
We'll never know how really good your staff is at recruiting until they have to venture out of state more than 10% of the time.
Georgia is similar in that regard except that Georgia actually has to fight-off raiders from UF, SC, Clemson, Tennessee, both Alabama schools, et al. Yet, much like LSU, most kids in both those states grow-up either LSU or UGA fans so both programs "select" more than they recruit.
Not many states, especially in the South, have that luxury.
Bama selects more than they recruit but they do it on a national level moreso than any other program in the country right now IMHO. Notre Dame used to do it, but not anymore. Maybe among the catholic kids but LSU gets their fair share of the catholic kids when they go after them ... so does BC for that matter.
Tennessee will never own western Tennessee, Memphis and the surrounding area because the midsouth hub has always been raided by everyone around there that borders that area along with Notre Dame dipping into Germantown.
LSU is just in a very rare place in terms of per capita D1 athletes in their state with little to no competition, except the occasional get by one of the Texas schools.
Am I wrong about that or is that pretty much the way it is? I think most fans of most programs are somewhat jealous in that regard.
