This could be the year a 2-loss team makes their way into the playoffs.

So why not Florida if they can pull off the impossible?

Remember, this is a hypothetical.

It would mean Florida running the table -- would they still keep them out?

Oh my God

Why not a 2 loss Tennessee while we’re living in this world?

Would totally depend on the other conferences. Undefeated and one loss conference champions from the Big 10, ACC, Big 12, and Pac 12 would likely keep Florida out. If one of those conferences also has a two loss champion then Florida could make it.

I doubt it. You alrady have 2 BAD losses (1 because of how pathetic you looked, albeit to a good team, and 1 to an awful team) and highly ranked UGA is the only other formidable opponent on the schedule in the eyes of the committee. FSU is 1-3 and not even receiving votes so that's not a very quality win.

If your scenario played out, the only 2 games you could really hang your hat on are UGA (great win) and bama (elite win). But woudl that be enough? What if that's bama's only loss? Let's say Clemson and Washington win their confernece and stay lofty in the polls like they are now, they're in. What if PSU/OSU both end the season with 1 loss and 1 of them wins the big 10? Big10 winner is in, so now you'd be battling it out with the Big12 winner and potentially a highly ranked 1 loss Ohio State/PSU as well.

I just don't see it.

Thank you for giving me a realistic view. That's all I was asking for. I just want my team to have a chance, no matter how small the chance. 3 losses is an automatic no. 2-losses and a lot of shite has to happen -- I mean 2007 type shite.

it's slow today.

Btw I've checked yalls board every day this week to read some discussion and nobody has even mentioned the game, wahts up with that? The only topic at all was started today but a UGA guy and everyone crapped on him, although it wasn't a very discussion-heavy topic.

Unless a lot of craziness happens I don't see a 2 loss team getting in. Even if Florida runs the table would they get in over a 1 loss Alabama? A 1 loss Penn State whose only loss would be to the big 10 champ Ohio State. A one loss Wisconsin whose only loss was to the big 10 champ Ohio State. You could have a 1 loss Washington whose only loss was to 1 loss USC. You could have a one loss Washington State at the end of the year too.

They've said conference championships have a lot of weight in the past though. Would be interesting is all I'll say.

You are not making it the rest of the way with just two losses, hell the next loss might be this week. If not it is happening against Georgia.

No, I don't give a shite about recent happenings so don't bring it up.

Florida will probably lose about 3 more times before the playoffs.
