I'm thinking he will, If I'm wrong then I'll just be like, Damn I was wrong but I got a feeling from the phone call from Saban that he will indeed be the starter.

Some guys can come in and start their first year regardless if they're a FR, SOPH, JR or a SR. Jalen has that IT factor and has the skills that no other QB Saban has had as a true FR. He is off the charts as a frosh.

I hope he is. I still think Bateman wins the job, solely due to his experience. Hurts clearly has been the best, but I think he needs to be far and away the best to win the starting job.

Imagine Hurts starting this year-- he'd have a few hiccups, sure, but the rest of the team is good enough to mask it-- and then being the starter his junior year. He's an absolute stud.
