He did go against a defense that no team on the rest of our schedule can match up with.

He was 3rd in the conference in YPG versus SEC teams last year. He's not a great QB but too many on here act like he's the worst QB you have ever seen.

Yeah I'll take Aranda and LSU over FSU. Didn't Lamar Jackson hang like 80 on them?

Lolz, game is in Bryant Denny, he'll far surpass what he did against FSU.

Florida State has an incredible defense this year and last year has no bearing on that.

See, Auburn 2015 vs Auburn 2016.

PFF has got some strange ways to get their ratings sometimes.

I don't care how good fsu's defense may be, he played at best, really mediocre. Could not pass or run.

Was not expecting that. Do these guys do a defensive team too? That would be way more interesting to me after last week.

guessing this is the "adjusted QBR" that takes into account the opponent (opponent's defense in the case of Hurts)?

It does indeed, I blame our horseshite O-line more than I do Hurts, it wasn't a good pass blocking o-line last year, and it sure as hell wasn't against FSU either.

It's kind of ignorant to say LSU and Auburns D are much worse than FSU's but

Not ignorant at all, he had better numbers against both as a Freshman, so.....

So, let me get this straight.....

Your entire argument is that Hurts is better now than he was last year, but you completely ignore the possibility that Auburn and/or LSU are better on defense this year.

Seems legit.
