This guy frustrates the hell out of me as an LSU fan....No matter how hard I try, I just can't dislike him.

dude is a snake. don't buy the facade he puts on. i promise you it's largely all for show. he just like the rest of college football coaches doing whatever it takes to gain an advantage

If it makes you feel any better, I feel the same way about Les. Don't like the letting players vote about punishments, but besides that it's easy to see why guys want to play for him. As much as I want to hate the guy, he's probably one of my favorite coaches.

And that's the truly funny part. Everything about Freeze (simple man, son of a farmer, small town MS roots, Christian family man, laid back, salt-of-the-earth) is what state fans stand for, but because he's the OM coach, they can't stand him

Hugh Freeze is a class act. I remember him giving to thanks to Coach Miles when he first entered the league. The guy is a good dude, a helluva recruiter, and hopefully just not a very good HC on the field. The honeymoon is over and now he will be expected to win games. Most havent been able to survive in this league when they get to this point.

That pretty much nails it. Hearing Freeze sell his team makes me appreciate the recruiting efforts of Les & Co even more. This guy is obviously one hell of a salesman. Tough to compete against someone like that.....

Dude is an overacheiver that will do whatever it takes to win, obviously starting with recruiting.
That said, he coaches at Ole Miss. That combo is a recipe for disaster.
