Bill Simmons' new website "The Ringer", which went live today, had an article on Ole Miss and Hugh Freeze.

That is the end plan for the Freeze defense. It was Satan all along. Lucifer himself is trying to frame the Ole Miss football program.

Well, this is what he's supposed to do and, I guess, Ole Miss fans are supposed to do the same.
The problem is, there is a record of $800 payment by booster. That's the payment OM is fine with the NCAA knowing about. You'd be a fool to think that was the only payment, just like you'd be a fool to think that it was a one time payment for $305 for "light bill" for Tunsil's mom.
All schools cheat to an extent, and the skilled ones do it in careful ways that are very hard to ever track. OM just was too blatant about it and pissed off half the conference. Hugh knows he's pissed them off and he knows that if he throws bombs back that the real damning info the others have will come out.

Funny, Freeze professed on Finebaum's show yesterday to not be aware that the other coaches think he runs a dirty program. Said that if that was the case, he'd be glad to debate them about their programs. Came across as the victim in all this.

Only one level one violation has to do with Freeze or his staff and it is about a FCA director they didn't know was classified as a booster driving HS kids to games. That gets more attention than rape cover up and his image is more damaged than Nutt who was found guilty of changing test scores and academic fraud. You'd feel like a victim too over this stupid shite

So you're saying that kids with zero ties to other programs are turning down 10k-200k to play for LSU? And we are the unrealistic ones? Did you watch Godchaux commit? Good lord
