25/44 (57%) players on ours are underclass men.

That's probably more the norm for teams that recruit more day 1 ready guys, but it's a bit of a departure for us. We typically have a more veteran laden team.

If anyone cares to do the math, I'll update the OP so that we can have a comparison.

Mizzou 57%
Arkansas 48%
LSU 57%
Florida 57%
aTm 50%
Auburn 46%
Alabama 43%
Kentucky 61%
MSU 28%
UGA 59%
UT 60%
Vanderbilt 62%

25/44 of our two deep are sophomores and freshmen. we have 2 senior starters on offense and 1 senior starter on defense.

2015 and 2016 will be very exciting.

LSU 57%

Depending on formation Auburn has 13 possible positions on O:

12/26 (46%) underclassmen. 3 are shown as starters for week 1 (RB / H-Back / TE)

Depending on formation Auburn has 12 possible positions on D:

11/24 (46%) underclassmen (one of the underclassmen at LB is counted twice. He is shown as an 'OR' starting at 2 LB spots along with 2 Sr's). 5 are shown as starters for week 1 (Buck / DT / LB / Nickel Back / Strong Safety).

Malzahn and Muschamp have already stated that at least 8 Freshman will get playing time on D during the season.

Almost everybody on Mississippi State's 2 deep are upper class men or RS sophs with the exception of backup QB RB and DT

Assuming I'm counting right (and using the second TE spot instead of the FB position):
Alabama is 19/44 underclassmen (43%)
10 Freshmen/RS Freshmen
9 Sophmores
11 Juniors
14 Seniors

I used their take on the QB battle. If Morris is #2, then it's 18/44.

So roughly 75% of our team is underclassmen? Holy shite, that can't be right, can it?

Not sure about the 2 deep, but LSU has 45 that are either freshman or Sophs that will see the field this year. Extremely young team
