How would you grade Mizzou football in the SEC on a report card?

I'd give us a B+
That grade would be lower if Mizzou had actually failed in 2012. However, Mizzou was able to drop a few classes before the no drop deadline.

I think the following gif perfectly sums up Mizzou Football up to this point:

Should be a solid "B", but shitty Rant posters drag the program down to a C.

I'd say a B+ sounds about right. You're 2/3 winning the east, which is no easy feat. And I'm sure you're going to say I'm making excuses or trying to downplay it, which I'm not, but facts are facts. The east has been relatively down, compared to its normal self. Also as mentioned in a post earlier this week, MU is 0-2 the last 2 years against east teams with less than 3 conference losses. Ie, they lost to the other "good" team in the division but still won the east. BUT, as I said, credit is due. I mean someone had to win the east, and it was missouri.
If we were grading based on expectations, the grade would be even higher.

I think a solid B is about right; not winning the SECCGs are a GPA killer.

Since we brought you in to boost our basketball conference prestige, and you failed miserably, your football team gets a D+.

I'd grade Mizzou - Lucky as all HE!!
I'd grade you - F-, maybe a G

You all didn't bring us in to boost basketball prestige. The SEC brought Mizzou in to boost Academics which has been miserable until we arrived.

As a cultural and geographic fit I still think they are a C.
On the field thusfar in all sports have to give them a B- (Basketball drags this down from a B+ in FB).
I still think their success is a coach and timing thing and they'll be lucky to sustain top 3 in SEC East status long-term.
They'll be fighting USC for 4th in the East on average the next 20 years.
