Wrong board but he did coach in the SEC so I'll take a shot at this.

I would not give one flying frick.

He will not go and if he did he would be no threat to any of us.

I guess this is the wrong board
Just thought it might be interesting since it's more than a strong rumor.(To my surprise)

Well I'll chim in. He can't win the games that matter with Oklahoma and I wouldn't expect that to change much at ND.

Due to proximity, it gives me much more pleasure to see OU suck rather than ND.

This is good if OU hires a flop.

It would worsen the depression that some posters already suffer from, as it would mean that Saban would be staying at Bama.

Bob Stoops is one of the top 5 coaches in college right now he can win anywhere. He is at OU which is next door to UT and he dominates that confrence winning it like six times to Mack Browns 1. He is a defensive guy, but OU always has a sick offense so that means he hires good people on that side of the ball. He would have Notre Dame in the BCS next year and in the title game by 2011 with their schedule.

his teams haven't been the same since his brother took the head job over at ARizona.

He is a good coach, but there are only 2 coaches in my mind who could handle the ND job - saban and meyer.
