It does worry me that LSU won't really get tested until the Auburn game in week 3. Opening with McNeese St-Lake Charles followed by McNeese St-Starkville can cause blind spots to a team's weaknesses.

It will be tough to play at a high level when starting out against two teams that we have a combined 22-2 record since 1992 against. Hard to play your best game against creampuffs.

This will cause the "experts" to grant MSU with a similar undeserved ranking after we beat LSU by 3 TDs in Starkville. LSU will have to score over 40 pts to beat Dak, and the hype train will be right back where it was last year. Early hype is a killer late in the season, and thanks to LSU 2 years in a row MSU will be loaded with it next Saturday night.
There's no way Harris can keep up. Dak's experience from last year will make him look like a fricking wizard.
