This is one of the most important keys to this game for me.

I'm very interested to see how Hurts reacts to Tiger Stadium after yall have had all day to get good and rowdy. There is a reason its tough there at night. Y'all damn idiots start drinking at 5 in the morning and by game time its full on hysteria. By God it fricking works though.

I hope he doesnt get rattled. He hasnt yet and hes been tested with some pretty brutal hits and has had some bad plays that he came back from without acting like they ever even happened.

He's far more mature than any true freshman ive ever seen but this is gonna be a whole different animal for him. Looking forward to it, Tigers.

I don't think the stadium will bother him more his lack of the forward pass will. Alabam plays better in the road. It's kind of weird.

How were the crowds @OM, Ark, and UT?

Are we going to keep asking this question? He's handled the Dallas stadium stage, the Oxford stage, and the Knoxville stage. He'll be fine.

UT is prob the most comparable but even then the night game factor and TS. He has been fairly composed through the season. If its tight late in the game then I think it could become a factor.

I think it'll mostly depend on what happens early.

As long as the Tide's defense does what it does and keeps LSU's offense in check, it'll keep the pressure off him. But if LSU scores early and puts the onus on Bama's offense, it could get interesting.

On the flip side, Kiffin could trust him to take some shots early and see what he can do. I don't think the atmosphere will be too much for him, though. I think that part of the game is overrated by a lot of people.

same way he's handled himself at Ole Miss and at Tennessee. when you get up on a team 20+ they tend to shut up.

All depends on how fast of a start bama gets off to. If bama gets up early I don't think the crowd atmosphere affects him too much. Other way around and Death Valley might eat him alive. Can't wait to see what happens.

I have concerns with Hurts. Getting freaked out by a crowd ain't one of them.

the night time shite is overrated

LSU fans like night games because it gives them time to have epic tailgates - this belief that their players gain extra abilities or their fans get extra loud when the earth rotates to the point where you can't see the sun is voodoo BS

but hey I like a night game too

plenty of drinking time before the game

Home crowds having a negative impact on the opposition are overblown, but it can have a positive impact on the home team. It's just noise after all, I doubt that will scare a kid that's proven to be as cool as a cucumber. That's just who this cat is. He's not going to get rattled. Could he have a bad game? Sure, it won't have anything to do with him losing his cool though.

Alabama is putting up 50 PPG away from home.

I think we'll put up somewhere around 28-31. If that's being affected, so be it.

Hurts will be fine, he makes smart decisions and takes what the defense gives him.

Once we go up by a couple of scores he will be ok. Might be a little nervous till then.

it is and it isn't, not so much that it rattles opposing players in 2016 (back in the day i believe it did) but more in that the crowd can pump the LSU players up and if something good happens can help with the momentum of the game.

Every once in awhile it does still rattle an opponent. See Wallace, Bo.

Wait, I thought Myles Garrett knocked him out of the game.
