Seeing that list makes me feel somewhat better about Bama's questions heading into the season.
Bama might have a rough year ahead but we'll all see how Bama does soon enough. I'm curious to see what Bama is made of and Bama gets a real test right off the bat, so do many other SEC teams. Now Bama's rough year is no championships won, and I suppose not all rough seasons are on equal terms....
Bama has replaced QB's during Saban's reign, and has done well while doing so, but Bama had experienced RB's, to help the new-transitional QB period. Picking up Blitzes, surveying pre-snap defenses, and other non-running duties by a RB, is such an overlooked part of football. I'll personally be watching Bama's RB's ability to pick-up pressure that first game. I'm guessing USC will stack the box, and pressure Bama's new QB/center right away. If USC has success stopping the run, Bama might have to show their RB's abilities to pick-up those blitzes right away or at the very least be an outlet for quick throws to combat USC's aggressive defensive play. I'd test Bama's offense with such new players all throughout the backfield, and until Bama proved they could burn my aggressive defense, I'd keep it coming all game long. Now, if Bama runs at will, and Bama's new QB's pick apart the defense with accurately-timed throws. The obvious will follow, USC will have a very very long night.
Like most Bama fans, I'm hoping Bama's new bloods are ready for championship levels this season. We'll see if this season Bama team can escape the tough lessons some talented-inexperienced teams, or laziness that comes off a championship, have to learn before disappointment from failure, ends up feeding the hunger needed for future championships. Bama's 2008, 2010, and 2013 teams had to go through this disappointing pain before reaching greatness. That Hunger helped pushed Bama's future teams to great things later on, and even back to back titles during 2011-2012 seasons. Will this seasons Bama team have to go through similar disappointments before reaching the same greatness other Bama teams have reached lately? We'll see, sometimes special teams come along and defy the normal path many teams take, I sure hope so....

We already know Dobbs and Harris can't pass so they will not win a national championship so I would take a unproven guy who may actually be able to pass the ball.

We will probably be starting Orth. Don't know how long he will actually stay in though.
Since our first two games are road games, I think we're going for experience to start out.

And at the end of the season, people will be scratching their heads and asking "how'd Bama win another championship with an unknown at QB?"
Or not.

Any homer can see the logic in that.
