How the hell do you justify dropping TCU 3 spots

When everything stayed the same? Committee fricked up and this will speed up the process to 8 teams.

If you call winning a Championship game convincingly as "everything stayed the same" then I guess I would agree with you. But OSU proved what it needed to. The Big 12's SOS this year was hilariously bad.

I think Baylor will jump TCU due to their KSU victory, but I think both will miss out and OSU jumps in.

They know that they don't need to justify....that's how. The teams and markets they wanted are in and only one conference is left complaining. That is the conference that has little political clout and is run by clowns.

It's a human committee and they corrected their mistake IMO.
You also had Oklahoma losing that effected "top wins" for some teams, some co-champion bullshite after the committee said championships carry weight, and OSU showing it's not going to matter whether it's their 3rd stringer or 2nd.

You are thinking about it in old poll way, the comittee doesnt work the way the old poll school of thought did. The rankings are also completely scraped and recreated from scratch every week.

They did not drop three spots. They are re-ranked each week from scratch.
