Not sure if this has been talked about...
LSU fans how deep is the D line?
Where is he transferring to any rumors?

We lost Bain but mickey Johnson is coming back. We are still gonna be three deep at each position.

Maybe you can use Maquedius as a middle name??
And correct on atlas shrugging. You wouldn't have to tweak much to claim it is about 'Merica starting from 2000- current.

Considering he barely played last year and wasnt expected to play much this year its not a big loss

Really? The article I read said he was a starter.

No not at all. He has like five career tackles

Yeah, that's incorrect

oh my bad I miss read it. I think this is what i read from espn.

Bain's exit leaves a hole in the LSU roster, particularly at defensive end, where he had a chance to contribute this season. He shifted there this spring after spending two seasons at tackle and was one of the leading candidates to step into a starting role.

He would have been the 2nd in rotation for SDE, I believe. Not a starter.

Losing our most feared D-lineman is definitely gonna sting a bit. If y'all can recall, he completely caused havoc every time he stepped on the field. He'll be missed. I just hope we have a D-line coach who can motivate the less talented D-linemen on the team

Depth more than anything. Losing Bain, Valentine and Lmfao hurts no matter how you some it up. Valentine more than anyone even though he never sniffed the field. The upside on the mammoth of a man was really being counted on to help plug the middle.
Oh well life goes on and all 3 go to JUCO, go figure.

He was going to backup Lewis Neal

What is going to hurt the most is that we won't get to hear Hawthorne try to say Maquedius.

You'll only really see the impact if we start having a rash of injuries

I can't remember the last time LSU didn't have a couple DL on the preseason watch lists. This new crop hasn't really made a name for themselves yet.

he wasn't yet.. but when any big arse 4 star comes on over and winds up doing nothing and leaving it hurts
he wasn't starting this year, but he was to be counted on
