Minimum 3 Maximum 8

If Alabama wins the NC this year it will be Number 5 for Coach Saban. I believe that will be enough to motivate him to stick around and try to get two more to break the record.

With modern technology and cryogenics, I can see another 30-40 years.

I don't know what he is going to do when he retires. I could see him hanging on too long like Bowden, Bear, and Paterno honestly

Whenever he retires I'm going to Baton Rouge. I bet the parties there will be epic.

Minimum- 4
Maximum- 16 (Saban says he's open to coaching until he's 80 years old. He's 64 now.)

One of these three is not like the others. Let's see if you can figure out which one.

Zero, he's gone after this year.

He's sick of your shitty fanbase with your shitty fans being shitty and starting shitty validation threads every 30 seconds.

He loves coaching.

With advances in medicine and his general fitness, I could see him there another 20 to 25 years.

After that they could probably get a list of willing organ donors for any vital organ CNS may need.

If "Running of the Gumps" has a table set up taking HLA samples for potential tissue matches, you'll know this is the plan.

Future quotes from Bama fans:
"I got 2 season tickets for giving a kidney to CNS."

"I'm signed up to donate my heart after the playoffs. It was worth it."

I think in some ways, coaching keeps Saban alive. I feel like he could coach for several more years if he wants to. I can't see him being the kind of guy who just wants to retire and just play golf til he dies. He's too ambitious about coaching football and is in a really good position now, he could definitely win a few more championships at Alabama before stepping down, and I think that's what he wants.

He has a sharper mind at his age than they did at the same age I guarantee that will not happen.

Paterno because he enabled a child molester?
Bear because he was a wife-beating alcoholic?
Bowden because he gave away free shoes?

Which one?

Paterno was fired but he held on too long.

Bear was near death when he finally called it quits.

Bowden is the only one you could argue, but he still held on too long.

I'll be happy with one. Anything more is a gift from God.

Coaches win the games before they're ever played. The players are just the levers the coaches push to get the desired effect.
