With losses to Fla and Bama. Been a minute or two since you have won 10 games in the Reg season. I know it is a silly question since there is no doubt you will beat Fla this year so humor me.

SEC Championship and National Title is what ever team strives for, but honestly who would turn down a 10-2 season?

Any vol fan who would turn down 10-2 isn't being realistic.

That would give them wins over VT, Georiga, and aTm, probably 2nd place in the east, and a solid January bowl game.

But losing to both Bama and Florida again is unacceptable. I'd take 10-2, but not with a UF loss

I get that those 2 are the circled ones that you reeeeeeally want the most. But after 5-7, 7-6, and 9-4, I don't see how you dont' automatically take 10-2.

Do you realize it's been TWELVE YEARS since ut had a regular season with 2 or less losses?

I'm pretty sure V&S would take 1-11 with a win over Florida vs 11-1 with a loss

I'm very familiar. They definitely have a good looking team, but it's not going to come easy. Honestly Florida and Tennessee to me are an even match up. The two teams Tennessee need to worry about is Georgia and Alabama. No one really knows what Georgia is going to bring this year. Florida is a rivalry and a lot of people could question their ability after last season.

I really need to update the chart. I'm thinking about adding the excuses to each year as well. Good idea?

Not with a Florida loss, at this point, it's personal.

If they go 10-2 you won't be able to find a funnel or 6er of Currs Lite in the entire state for months.

We could go 10-2 with losses to Bama and UF, still make the SECC and id be happy. Id be pissed we didn't break the streak, but a chance in the SECC is enough consolation.

But if we go 10-2 (Bama/UF), miss out on the SECC, I'd be furious. Yes, its a 10 win season that we haven't gotten in a while. But ultimately, it wouldn't mean anything. 1) We'd still get so much grief for losing to the good teams on our schedule. 2) With the east being the way it is this season (lot of new coaching staffs, player attrition, unproven QBs), if we cant win it this year, when can we win it? 3) we lose a lot of contributors next season
