How many scholarship players is your school leaving off the 105 man roster?

RS Soph DT KeTyrus Marks & RS FR RB Juan Day haven't made the cut for the 105 for fall camp.
Bielema said this has been the hardest 105 roster he's had to put together due to the strength of depth and our walk on program. Petrino and Hootie never had issues in filling out a 105 man roster, as they were having to rely on walk ons to fill out the 85 man roster.
Bert's low attrition rate and quality character recruiting is giving him a wealth of options and creating strong battles for back up positions across all positions on the field. We rarely have kids getting arrested anymore. The players that can't get it together don't last long and aren't around to bring the team down (D'Arthur Cowan, Korliss Marshall, Randy Ramsey). Marks and Day are still enrolled and will be attending class and if there are any injuries they'll be added back to the 105 man roster.
When your walk ons are so strong they're supplanting scholarship players things are heading in the right direction.

I feel like there should be an oversigning comment here.

Sound like recruiting busts to me

I remember when we had walkons beating out scholarship players across the board at key positions.
That year we lost a game trailing 77-0 in the 3rd quarter.

I recall it also happening in a year where we lost to Arkansas State

yeah, i'm not sure how he's painting this as a pretty picture, but you've got to give him some credit for trying right?

Marks was a guy many of us thought was a reach. He came in undersized, from a tiny private school on the Florida coast that only recently started their football program. Smart kid, was a Charlie Partridge signee, just probably doesn't have the talent to play in the SEC it seems. We're recruiting better players behind him. Other schools would process him out and free up scholarship space. We'll keep him on board and sign one less in Feb.

Yeah, walk-ons aren't beating starters out here though. This is a depth thing. Guys are turning down scholarships to walk on here and then they're outworking the first year recruits and Petrino holdovers.

Pretty sure no one that's still on the Arkansas roster ever played for Petrino. They would have redshirted in 2011.

So they walked on but they aren't walk-ons. Makes sense

Does that mean they'll get "medical assistance" like the processed bama players?
Worked pretty well for Ben Beckwith last year on State's O-line.

Aggie math is Aggie math.
Petrino's last class was the 2012 signees. Those guys are RS-Jr and above. The Allen brothers were Petrino signees, Keon Hatcher, JWill, Smothers, Walker are all Offensive starters that signed w/ Petrino. On D, it's Brooks Ellis, Hodge, Winston, Wise, Gaines, that all signed w/ Petrino.
It just seems like there's no more Petrino guys on the roster and I can't wait until there's actually no more Petrino players still here.

How many of that class PLAYED FOR PETRINO?
Who was Arkansas' coach in the 2012 season?
The ruling on the field is confirmed as called. Dumbass pig is charged a timeout and forfeits the right to challenge.
