I know alot of the posters here watched the game, how many were stoked to see SEC atheletes once again toe the line and justify our hype? This was a game that matched typical SEC football ( mega-talented running backs, mauling oline & just nasty atheletes on defense) against the west coast flash and "speed". I know its hard to be proud of a hated rival, but i must say watching Bama pound Michigan St.and numerous other examples keeps that SEC chant ringing throughout the south.

I'm glad LSU won because they made the rest of the SEC, and it's fans, proud.

It would've been a much better game had last year's Oregon team played this year's LSU team

The only thing I get out of it is not having to hear Oregon fans talk smack. Other than that, I rarely pull for other SEC programs is OOC games.

I thought LSU looked good last night and put those west coast figs in their place.

I tried not to give a shite, but admittedly it was nice seeing an SEC team make Oregon's arse quit. Even "speed" teams can be slowed down when they're hit hard enough.

I'm glad LSU won because it shuts Oregon fans and the like (ESPN) up. Other than that I don't really care.

I was extremely proud of how LSU went out and represented not only themselves, but the conference as well.

Unfortunately Georgia, Old Myth, and to a some what lesser extent - Auburn and Georgia as well are the SEC teams fans around the country are focusing on............................

I was happy that LSU beat Oregon last night. If Oregon would have won all we would hear from ESPN would be, "The SEC is not as good this year." I also want LSU to be undefeated when they come to T-Town. It was a very entertaining game and Oregon did have some hot cheerleaders!

They did OK. I sat with a die-hard UA fan in his den in Alabama and we both thought they did OK. Proud? No - they met my expectations, along with my friend's though.

I shed no tears when the ducks died
