2009 AUBURN FOOTBALL SCHEDULE
Home games in all CAPS

Sept. 5 LOUISIANA TECH
Sept. 12 MISSISSIPPI STATE
Sept. 19 WEST VIRGINIA
Sept. 26 BALL STATE
Oct. 3 at Tennessee
Oct. 10 at Arkansas
Oct. 17 KENTUCKY
Oct. 24 at LSU
Oct. 31 OLE MISS
Nov. 7 FURMAN [HC]
Nov. 14 at Georgia
Nov. 28 ALABAMA

La. Tech to open (a La. Tech win will only highlight passing on Derek Dooley)?
Ball State (now w/o head coach Hoke)?
Kentucky?
Certainly Furman...right?

I'll give them 5. I don't think Ball State will be good next year. I don't think Mullen will find offense that early in the season. I think Kiffin will have Tenn. playing well.

I think they're going to struggle in conference play.

I really do hope Chizik is successful...as I've posted already, a strong Auburn is good for LSU.

The thought of an unchecked Bama is just too unbearable.

I have faith in Kiffin, I just think it is going to take a while to get us where we need to be. And we can't beat Auburn.

I'm thinking the offense will improve and Monte's going to have the defense playing well. However I could see your scenario as well.

I hope so. He is still technically here for another year. It looks like Kiffin will be going with him, Stephens, or Coleman, and if I had to guess, he'll be trying to develop Coleman.

I give credit where credit is due with Crompton, though. He looked back where he was against LSU in 2006 in our last game against Kentucky. I just wish he could be that consistent all the time.

I think Auburn loses to MSU and Tenn.

I think our defense will be outstanding, but it was outstanding this year too and we lost 14-12. This is one of those games I see that could be a 16-13, 10-9 type of deal for us next year.

I'm shocked, you're talking about Bama on a thread that has no mention of the Alabama football program!

I was just pointing out the guy might not be the worst hire ever. It was also a light hearted joke.

MSU is interesting to me. I'm very curious to see how Mullen does.
