How long until the REC gets the Ole Miss/Bama game moved to early November ?

Catching Bama early in the season while they're working out offensive issues and the Rebels haven't had to test their depth yet can only last so long ... I'd say by 2019 the game will be pushed back several weeks... Ole Miss will probably have won 4 out of the last 5 by that point in time.

You're right. Once the sanctions hit it will get moved before a real game. It will be like a bye.

We realize you're new to winning, as the all time Bama/OM record is Alabama leads, 48–11–2 (51–10–2 on the field).
Just in case you weren't aware of how time itself works, we didn't earn that record in one week. No, it took over 60 years to accrue that sort of dominance. When you attend your first arithmetic classes these numbers will be explained to you in more detail.

You dumb arse. Ole Miss will not have a football team in 2017.
Can you say NCAA sanctions?

You and your coach at scared. Admit it and you'll feel better.

Why would we do that? Yea, you've won two in a row but we've also lost two in a row to latech.
As of right now you're still not an issue with us. If you win 9 or 10 straight...hmmm..maybe we worry the but right now we just figure you've caught some breaks and won. We're not worried bout ole miss. You never hear Saban mention them when he talks about our schedule. If it moves it won't be because we need an advantage. We already have that just by us being Bama and u being ole miss. You probably get worked over by us this year and y'all can go talk shite to teams down on your level. We don't for a second consider u with us. You've just been lucky. God knows u were due some after 50 years of us hammering you're arse but it's just been luck the last 2 years. It's over for u.

Until a joined this website I never realized just how butt-hurt the Bama fans were about getting their arse kicked by Ole Miss back to back. And this season will most likely make it 3 years in a row since they have to go into Oxford. They are having 2 student sections in each endzone with the expansion. It's gonna be LOUD.

Stadium expansion doesn't change anything in Ole Miss' high school stadium
It is kind of funny I think though. Alabama can beat the shite out of a #1 and #3 ranked team, both in a row, but can't beat the likes of Ole Miss.
Then cell dwellers like Arkansas and Memphis blow the Rebs out of the building. Ole Miss is a strange team.

Funny you mention 2019 as that's when Ole Miss is planning on not renewing our series.

How is that funny? It doesn't even make any sense?

I'd say by 2019 Ole Miss will be back to being irrelevant.

I cant imagine winning 4 NC in 8 years and being so damn sensative.
The OP basically said the reason OM has had recent success has as much to do as when we catch Bama as anything else. That is a compliment.
No other SEC West program right now appears to be in Saban's way more so than OM. And you would figure a school who is now in a dynasty with one coach who followed another coach who lost 6 straight to Auburn would understand the name on the front of your jersey doesnt mean anything without the right coach. Bama has beaten LSU at their prime, auburn cant get to their prime with Saban at the helm, A&M seems to be a flash in a pan with a heisman QB, while OM hasnt peaked yet talent wise and has won 2 in a row. It would only make sense that Bama would rather play OM later in the year where they have a distinct advantage. As long as they keep winning the SEC, I dont see any reason to take action though.

See, that's not how scheduling works. The SEC will move the game to Nov when they think the game might decide who goes to Atlanta. And well, you know....

I'd still say that is LSU despite the current 5 game win streak. It's just difficult for Bama fans to truly believe Ole Miss is the SEC West program that is in Bama's way when the last two years that game has proven to be largely irrelevant because Ole Miss hasn't been able to close the deal. Two losses to Ole Miss have resulted in two SEC championships and two playoff appearances for Bama (and one NC). It just hasn't mattered. Maybe if Ole Miss starts winning some divisions and getting to Atlanta (still has never happened), Bama fans will believe Ole Miss is Bama's biggest obstacle in the West. As for now that title still goes to LSU and then Auburn who have proven they can finish the deal and keep Alabama from Atlanta.

Wasn't it in mid-October until TAMU was added? I think they put A&M where Ole Miss used to be. I like having an exciting conference game in September, even though it probably does benefit Ole Miss, like you said.
