Here is a thread on BOL from February claiming Freeze was done and to expect a "Swaggart moment."

I’ll tread lightly here, but Ole Miss officials were asking questions about Freeze’s personal life as early as last fall. Bjork confirmed Thursday that Freeze was confronted with rumors earlier this year. It should be noted, for fairness if nothing else, that Freeze denied those rumors and there was no corroborated proof.

However, Oxford is a small town. People talk. Those rumors never would go away. Let’s keep this real. Ole Miss had reason to worry. So it dug into his phone records over the years and found a pattern of behavior significant enough to lead to Thursday’s resignation.

Rumors surfaced last summer.

And December.

The call was made 1/19 (Thursday) but he forgot to erase.

Then, last Wed. or Thursday, Ole Miss attorney was given the info about the 1/19 call.

He's such a Christian God-loving whole-hearted man that he gave up a $15M buyout to resign with no money owed over a innocent misdial. We should all strive to be the man Coach Freeze is

In other words, right before signing day. Interesting.

So was the escort for him or a player?

Edit: I mean really I think I answered my own question. I'm presuming it was probably both though in the end.

He claimed it was a mis-dial. Then the University kept looking and found a pattern.

They didn't say what that pattern was other than they said that if this was public knowledge, they would have to fire him.

So, he resigned with no buyout and no agreement. This leaves us to speculate what they found but it was enough for him to give up and go away.

I doubt that very highly but...what if Ole Miss eventually ends up getting sued by Hugh too?

Bjork probably knows way more than he lets on. This whole Rev Nutt mess has got them screwed up. Pending legal action means subpeonas and Bjork has to try and distance himself from what might come from the records that might be admitted in court. I dont think Bjork will survive this either.
