Les Miles was fired for just barely losing to Auburn. What happens when O starts racking up his usual losses. Do LSU fans let him finish the season? Does he get another chance?

Ole Miss would probably hire him back in a heartbeat.

I can understand your confusion ... but the saying is, "if you can't beat them, join them."

It is not, "if you can't beat them, hope they join you."

What does this have to do with anything? No one wants O to join them.

Yep. That's what he was fired for. Nailed it, OP.

His usual losses? When and where were these losses? Think about it. YAOM.

If Coach O loses 4 games he will be under extreme pressure. More than 4, there's a chance he won't be retained.

If he can't win at least 9 games with this roster then I'm sure the admin will look for a coach elsewhere. (ARANDA)

Looking at last years young talented class I believe he's here for a while. Different coach from ole miss days. And at a much. Better program

I think he will be fine this year, next year is likely to be the rough one depending on what happens at A&M.

The west will be much tougher next year most likely and LSU will be without an experienced QB while State will be having it's every few year upswing, A&M likely will have a good coach, Arky will be tough along with AU and Bama will be Bama as usual.

The only week team next season will be OM.

Just talked to Wally and June and they said he was going to be at LSU while the Beaver was out making phone calls.

Coaches typically get 3 seasons these days, so 3 is the minimum if he is delivering crummy results.

If he flames out really terribly it could be 2.

0 will be a 3-4 loss a year HC because I don't think even he can totally frick up their talent. Will the fans accept that from him when they wouldn't from Les?

Maybe they will because he's one of their own.

If he fails they better not promote from within again.

Have you read the Tiger Rant lately? Most LSU fans aren't accepting him now. I personally was hoping for Jimbo, but I'm giving the man the benefit of the doubt.
