Hell, Dan Mullen won nine games in his second season in Starkville with Chris Relf as the signal caller in a season that saw five of the six SEC West teams finish in the final AP top fifteen. Dan took over for Sylvester fricking Croom, for frick's sake.

They signed 79 players in '12, '13 & '14... plus have 10 EE's in the '15 class(90 players ttl in 3 yrs.) & can't field a 2 team squad for the spring game, using your walk ons, even with 13 players "out"??...

Dan Mullen took over for Sly Croom and won 9 games in his second season against arguably the second toughest division in CFB history and they're shitting their pants over a god damn 7-win season.

I think 8 regular season wins with a bowl win would be a good season for this team. A team that is still full of underclassmen.
I find it funny that if someone has reasonable expectations then it's making excuses. If someone says we're gonna win the East then they're full of hype and complete homers. Either way, I don't give two shits what any of you cocksuckers think about UT or how many wins we'll get to this year.

Nonetheless, that's better. Ten regular season wins at a program like Tennessee used to be is what you'd expect, right? Wrong. fricking pussies. More and more excuses are on their way from Rocky Top this fall.

10 wins are expected when the program is where it's supposed to be, but we are still building. I told you that 8 regular season wins with a bowl win is reasonable for this team. We still have a ton of underclassmen and not much depth( both of which are not conducive for a 10 win season)

FWIW, they beat an 8-5 Florida team, a 6-7 Georgia team, and took a 10-3 Arkansas team to overtime. Had the SEC West not gone 14-0, 11-2, 10-3, 10-3, that State team would have been a pretty good one. They had an extremely physical run game and front seven.
