Another year where the Vols finish with between 6-8 wins and we will hear about how "next year" will be their year.

Vols fans will be focused on recruiting rankings again by early October as usual.

As long as he keeps bringing in 37 freshmen every year.

Houston Nutt with organizational skills. He was dealt a poor hand

Nutt walked into a stocked roster at Ole Miss. Orgeron couldn't coach worth a shite but he recruited well.

As long as les miles rides whatever card that keeps saving his a#$

I don't think an lsu fan has any room to discuss how long a coach can go without scrutiny

Yeah, Nutt inherited 2 programs in great shape ('97 Hog team was riddled with injuries and a horrible OC Broyles forced on Ford), and dismantled them.

Jones at least hasn't had much to work with. This year he's got talent with some experience.

But Saban still found a way to get Bama to win big by his second year.

Yes, but we all have learned under the lecturing by Bama fans that Saban isn't a man - he's a god

His "shite or get off the pot" moment is fast approaching, for sure. You'd think with the classes he has brought in that the fans are going to want to start seeing some results.

Butch Jones is a car salesman.

Works for Calliapri. So who knows.

If I could pick one coach in the SEC to crash and burn, it's this guy. Maybe Stoops too.

Coach Saban walked into a bad situation, yet he was undefeated until Tim Tebow had a couple of Tom Brady moments in the 4th quarter of the SECCG.

Saban and Urban Meyer are extreme outliers in their profession, but less accomplished yet still successful coaches make great strides by year 3.

If Deboard pans out as OC, UT will do well. If not...

As lousy as he was as a hc, Zook was a brilliant recruiter. 20/22 starters in the title game against Ohio State were his guys (22/24 if you count the k and p).

If Tennessee doesn't reach 9 wins this fall, with Florida and South Carolina looking to be down, Butch has got to go. Correct?

Keep in mind that Tennessee's "days of despair" have taken place in the shittiest period of SEC East history, as well.
