How limited is Fournette right now?

All shite talking aside, has anyone heard at what percent LF is performing right now? Saw his vertical jump was a bit lower than I expected it to be. I've had experience with nagging high ankle sprains while trying to play through it, and they can really limit your athleticism on multiple fronts. Has he completely healed?

Really looking forward to watching him compete at the next level.

I would think he believes he's 100% or he wouldn't be running. Dude is frigging big.

The vertical is similar to his attempt at The Opening in 2013.

My 9 year old daughter has a better vertical than that so he must really be hurting. At least I hope that's what the cause of the poor jump is.

Well, that was the reason for the thread. I was an OL in college and had a 28 inch vertical and that was only good enough for about 3rd or 4th among OL/DL.

I'm thinking it absolutely has to be hurting his performance. But why would he run, if it was?

Doesn't make a whole lot of sense. I hope he is able to fully heal and put on a show at a pro day.

Lesean McCoy had a 29" vertical when he came out.

The vertical is very overblown.

I see you laughed about fournette vertical but Derrick Henry is 6'3 and did 37 long arms helps with that too but shrugs

Long arms have no impact on a vertical. They stretch you out to the tip of your middle finger and measure while standing flat footed - and then measure the difference in the height of the high point of your jump.

And Henry did that 37 inch vertical at a similar weight. 6-3 247. Fournette is 6-1 240.

LF is clearly out of shape.
