Curious because Arkansas women just beat Duke. Seems like a big deal in the Twitter-verse but I admittedly don't keep up with it.

UK's women has dropped their first two games but finished last season ranked in the Top 10 and pulled a Top 10 recruiting class I believe.

The men have been decent in C-USA as well.

A battle lately between UF and A&M. UF is currently ranked higher and the defending conference champ.

Uneven. There are years with pretty good teams and others that are just mediocre.

Alabama hired Florida State's top assistant. They won a national title recently. That's all I know.

In some parts of the country soccer is now more popular that football.
Seattle's soccer club has more season ticket holders than the Seattle Seahawks do.

Arkansas women's soccer beating Duke is a pretty big deal because until very recently the soccer team had never beaten a ranked opponent. Nor had the team ever made an NCAA tournament, but they made the tournament last year and have now beaten 4 ranked opponents. I'm glad to hear the team is doing well.

The SEC doesn't sponsor a number of sports. Some of it is that not all schools participate in them. UT is in the B12 along with Alabama in rowing before then the SEC and B12 schools shared CUSA for rowing. Ironically, the main tournament events are usually held in Oak Ridge because it's a world class course.

I don't know what our rules are about how many schools need to participate in a sport before the conference sponsors it but it would be nice if some of these were in-conference.

Alabama finished last in the SEC Hart's first year and stuggled to score anything.

In year 2, Alabama is 3-0 to start the season and have like 10+ goals already.

Only two programs in the SEC with rowing, correct? LSU and Vanderbilt would be the only others on a river anyway.
