It is still a touchy topic with UGA fans right now, but you can't deny that he was a great coach for this conference.
He will eventually come back to the SEC someday. Miami is more of a stepping-stone right now.
I could see him at Florida or Tennessee one day.

He'll get Miami into the ACC CG this year or next and have them competing for playoff spot within 5 years.

No, he won't. And even if he would consider it, he wouldn't coach at either of the two schools you mentioned.

Mark Richt is one of the finest people you will ever meet. He knows the game but I question him on hires and too much loyalty. He is a players coach and a fan favorite. He is a better coach than most but not an elite coach. You have to get the top to win in this conference and UGA was never short on talent.

I don't think it is. Most fans I know hope he does well at Miami, but are excited for the future with Smart.
