How great of a position is Florida in?

Should roll over everyone in the east. If they take care of business, they don't even have to worry about beating their remaining west team. Everyone would excuse it because LSU has a Heisman player. Move to the SECCG with 11 or 12 wins, in position to make the playoff with a win.

I'm jelly.

@ Mizzou
@ LSU
vs. UGA
vs. Vanderbilt
@ South Carolina
vs. FAU
vs. FSU

Sure a great position, but we could easily lose next week. FL's offense is still young and inexperienced and will have its ups and downs.

TBH I still think UGA is a little better than them. I see losses to UGA, LSU and FSU to put them ending up at 9-3.

Telling you right now, we're going to beat the frick out of FSU.

LSU and UGA are the only teams that I really concern myself with right now. They will definitely lose at least one game this year.

Seriously, 8 point victory against Wake?

We're going in dry.

Your concern with UGa should be the same as mine with Auburn.

That is to say, it's one of those rivalries where anything could happen, but one team is clearly much better.

Mizzou has a great defense, the better QB for them finally starting, and their homecoming at night against us.

If that doesn't scream letdown game for UF after a big win, I don't know what does.

Why does everyone think FSU is good? Have you seem them? They are a far worse team then us. They have cook...and nothing. Their Oline is worse, passing offense is significantly worse, their defense is pretty good. So why people think UF will lose to them is beyond me. We have them here...and they don't have James anymore.

This is really the only thing I'm sure of.

FSU right now has problems. Cook is their only weapon on offense and now hes hurt.

Didn't stop them last year.

And...Kentucky beat 'em. We played Kentucky hard while we were growing up.

Ole Missus has a better defense. A better coach, a better QB, better WRs, a better RB and program.

We'll be just fine, just keep doing exactly what we did tonight: Work as a unit, work as hard as we possibly can and do our job. That's it, man. And Mac has got them doing that without any problem.

As for the rivalries: That's why I worry about Georgia. They always have a chance, as do we, like last year. They'll be just fine, unless we're a "big game", then Richt will completely implode again.

Need one more UGA loss to make me secure, worried about LSU and UGA, power run worries me.

OTOH I'm glad we might be back now that the OBC is retired he can come watch us drop bombs on folks, if he had to watch a Muschamp team as a fan it might've killed him.

I could see them losing to UGA and LSU but there is no way they lose to FSU.

I've got to think our players remember Mizzou embarrassing us last year. They'll be ready IMO.

It would be a bizarre, horrible game or a buncha people get injured on our side. But FSU is awful this year.

If Mizzou hadn't done what they did last year I'd agree but given that I have to think there might be some pissed off people on the team (especially on offense since the defense stomped them last year) who want to make a statement.

Yeah, the other games were pretty much "gimmes" that we didn't take seriously.

That game and the game today are the two we wanted bad. And we saw what happened today.

Alabama showed the blue print
Georgia has completed only TWO 30+ yard pass plays(UF has six 30+ yard TDs already). That's...bad. Georgia has no vertical passing game and Alabama showed their QB is nothing but average. He has thrown safe, easy passes all year. We can man their WR's, which aren't all that great compared to Ole Miss. Then load the box. Chubb will get yards, but not enough to beat us. And the Virginia QB can't throw deep.

LSU
Missouri
Georgia
FSU

in order the most worrisome games. But Georgia isn't that worrisome right now. We just look better.

Yep. It's all there for them on a silver platter.

A real chance to restore order to the East.

Missouri next week will be a barn burner. Two elite defenses..two freshman Qbs. Will get interesting. I hope Mac shows the game last year to the team..remind them of that feeling they had. This is a night game, and a trap game after two huge emotional victories. Then with Fournette the week after...if we aren't focused, Missouri will win. If we are into the game though...I like our chances. Their new Qb scares me though. Our d struggles with mobile Qbs.
