How fricking stupid is Ole Miss?

Cam and Fairley went through auburn the same year and Cams dad is on record asking for money and nothing happens. Freeze can't figure out a better way to talk about money than texting? And tunsil can't even get through draft night without spilling the beans?

I know. If they had got some good lawyers they could have easily shown the trail of violations going on in ttown for the same things and nothing happening. At the least they could have gotten the NCAA being biased brought out in the media and made themselves look like victims.

Either the Tunsil text explain that OM doesn't really cheat because if that's how we hide stuff, and the NCAA investigation over 3 years came up with loaner car and free lodging then we haven't done really anything.
Or
The text are innocent and nothing will come of it because the super secretive OM network that buys all these players that the NCAA wasn't able to find is legit would never be that stupid to exchange money over text message
Similar to there's no way Tunsil recieved a quarter of a mil if he can't pay a light bill.

I will actually defend Freeze on this one.
I'm pretty sure Freeze doesn't end a end of practice huddle with instructions on how to get money from the right people. I honestly don't think Freeze's day to day life deals with how, when, and where the players that are getting paid receive their money. Does he know it's going on? Sure. Does he have direct knowledge of each transaction? I highly doubt it.

Of course he doesn't do it that way. College football is a business and he obviously delegates tasks to other individuals who brief the athletes.

See, Tunsil was given an X amount to play for OM. How much? I have no idea. Part of his agreement to play for OM also included giving mamma a house and job in Oxford and paying her electric, gas, and water bills. To simplify this, they did an average of what those bills would cost over a specific amount of time (3,6, or 12 months) and agreed to give her that amount every month to pay said bills. Hence the "I thought we agreed on an amt. that number keeps changing" and "someone needs to explain exact cost. I have no way of handling surprise amounts". Basically Tunsil ain't spending (or possibly has not yet recieved all of and has already spent the first part of) his money to pay for something that OM already agreed to pay.

We know that fund exists. And it's a great fund but that fund can't be used as a way to set up a "payment agreement" for a mamma's bills.

You guys who don't live in Mississippi have no idea about the things that have gone on with Ole Miss and the media failure to give a damn.
Ole Miss is a journalism school and most media in this state will not rock the boat. Especially our states largest newspaper who just happened to be owned by an Ole Miss guy and now run by one after being sold.
Plus Ole Miss is naturally connected with UMC (University Medical center) and the reason they had a cow over one of their own being replaced there is because family members of recruits got jobs there. Deny it OM? My sister used to work there.
Moreover, the grade fixing to qualify high profile recruits is another thing we complained about but the media refused to touch it. And it happened in more than one place but at least the Ncaa got hold of it FINALLY without our wonderful OM worshipping media's help.
The Clarion Ledger was given info about Ole Miss cheating and only after it went national did they decide they better jump in to look good. Oh so typical!

It's a rigged game in this state as far as Ole Miss is concerned and Miss State has always been given an uphill climb because of it. They are not arrogant because they excell at overall sports more than MSU, they know better. They are arrogant because they have the power over the state in so many ways and they pride themselves on it.
