How fricking weird is it that Muschamp is the DC at Auburn?

I mean, I was not against him at Florida per se. He inherited a pretty bad situation there, and I'm not convinced that Colorado State guy will do any better- odds are about even he will do worse- but honestly how can the players take this dude seriously with the stench of his failure at Florida still hanging on him? I don't know, it seems pretty fricking weird.

Well his defenses at UF were still pretty good. He just had a top 5 pick in the draft

I feel bad for Muschamp. Auburn fans think he is going to come in and immediately field the best defense in the SEC. They will probably be slightly better than last year, which isn't saying much. He was ultimately hired to stop Alabama, a team which has crushed his defenses the last 3 meetings.

Link?

We don't need the best defense in the SEC. We need a top-half defense that can stop the opposing offense more than once or twice a game.

The players, and Chizik, are smart enough to know that some people just aren't head coaching material.

You know the drill and so do college players. They understand that everyone has a different skill-set. He tried something and it didn't work out, just like Kiffin.

But, look at Kiffin now. He is a superstar again.

Dude. It is common knowledge.... Everything Auburn does is to stop Alabama. That is their ultimate goal. Don't be so dense.

I'm just saying, if you're going to play with hyperbole, at least make it somewhat logical/anchored in reality

Yeah.... Auburn fans lost their shite over hiring Muschamp because now they will be slightly above average on defense... That's it.

Despite your obvious attempt at trolling, the HC job is completely different skill set than a coordinator.

Muschamp is an extremely skilled coordinator. Some people are not cut out for the HC job. Auburn is glad to have him.

Dude, you're a bro but no Auburn fan expects the best defense in the SEC. You don't have to be so dishonest and quite frankly I expect better from you. So disappoint

That would have won an extra 3-4 games last year. I will take it.
