How does Joe Alleva still have a job?

I have never seen a more incompetent AD in my life. Mike Hamilton comes close followed by Foleys last 2 football hires but this dude has got to be fired if LSU wants to return to glory.

He's caved to media/fan pressure, wasted the 2016 season, had the first open football job in September and lazily promoted from within and never conducted a real search until O lost to Florida, and still employs Johnny Jones somehow. Unbelievable, ain't it?

We have a terrible president of our University that doesn't care about athletics. That is why we still have Alleva. We have to get rid of the Administration all the way at the top.

I mean he did snag Ed Orgeron after all

He totally redeemed himself when he hired 0rgeron.

FWIW, he brought LSU athletics through a very difficult period when the State was having huge financial issues. He has still managed to turn a profit to the extent the Athletic Dept. gives millions of dollars to the university as a whole. The non firing of CLM 2 seasons ago was not his doing, that falls on the president's shoulders. Had that happened as JA wanted, none of this year's firing/hiring mess would have happened. Having said that, he is not popular with the LSU fan base.

He hired the best coach LSU could get. What did you want him to do?

Hate to break it to you but Foley is about go 1-3 at hiring football coaches. (Beaver teeth is not getting the Gators back to prominence.) The kicker is that his only win in Football (Meyer) was Machen's doing and not his.
Alleva has a job because he's a competent administrator. The Orgeron hire is going to look much better in a few years. The big question is whether he can hire a decent hoops coach after this season. The legacy folks (Shaq, Dale Brown, etc) got their man 5 years ago. They can STFU now because Johnny Jones is an obvious failure.

He has photos from a wild party that was held by the Board of Regents and Bay City Bombers.
He will be a LSU as long as he likes.

You know, I actually like your posting when you first started. Now, you've turned into just another shitty Bama poster.

Lots of posters saying that he wasted the 2016 season by not firing Miles.
Just remember Joe Alleva would still have had to hire Miles' replacement, and based on his track record we could actually have done a lot worse.
