Not a question for you Alabama guys, you fockers always in the playoffs...lol. I understand the tie-ins keep the SEC teams in the south but it would be cool to play somewhere outside the area in another part of the country.

I think the sec has the best bowl connections and it is great to have the chance to play another university that you normally would not play, like Texas Tech. But, it would be awesome since the bowl in many cases is not that big of a deal to play in another area like the west or north

Always thought we should have a game somewhere against the Pac-12.

Aside from the Rose and Fiesta bowls, there are no bowls that anyone would want to go to outside the south, are there?

I wouldn't mind them doing away with tie ins and have 5 play 6, 7 play 8 and so on all the way through 26. Rotate 5-12 through the 4 non playoff NY6 bowls.

The Rose & Fiesta are technically both in the south.

Apologizing for double post, ship's wifi is brutal, requesting admin remove other post

As for other bowls, thinking Vegas or Hawaii. Probably would draw less fans than Texas Bowl but different scenery would be cool

I always thought bowl tie ins should be scrapped except for the traditional tie ins that take champions(like the Rose Bowl).

Allow bowls to be ordered like a draft and take the 2 teams they want.

A) Most bowl games are in the South, anyways, as the weather is much better here in December and January than up north.
B) Fans are more likely to travel to bowl games closer to their residences.
C) The Outback Bowl generally averages 50k+ in attendance. Could you imagine playing a game at Soldier Field on January 1? There wouldn't be 25k people in the seats.
