Not a question for you Alabama guys, you fockers always in the playoffs...lol. I understand the tie-ins keep the SEC teams in the south but it would be cool to play somewhere outside the area in another part of the country.
I think the sec has the best bowl connections and it is great to have the chance to play another university that you normally would not play, like Texas Tech. But, it would be awesome since the bowl in many cases is not that big of a deal to play in another area like the west or north

I think they suck. Most SEC teams get stuck playing big10 teams, sometimes in back to back years.

I thought I read "bow tie" in the title and got excited.
Now I'm sad.

A lot of times the SEC team is better than the team they get a bowl with which makes for a lot of non-interesting bowls that we should win.
Just look at the SEC bowls this year, many not equivalent teams.

all are good but SEC needs a a few Pac12 tie in bowl games..

I think the bowls should have to bid against each other for the teams they want.
