How do you all see the Hurd/Kamara tandem playing out?

Will it be a true 1&2? or will it be more of a 1a & 1b type situation? Word on the street is Kamara is looking every bit as good as Hurd

Hurd is a complete package. Can run catch and block. I doubt he isn't the primary starter.

If Hurd weren't good, he wouldn't be a preseason Heisman contender. He also wouldn't have had 900 yards rushing and 221 yards receiving behind possibly the worst offensive line in Tennessee History

They could be a potent 1&2 punch for the vols. Hurd is a beast. I hate things didn't work out for Kumara here in Tuscaloosa. We could really use him after our offseason backfield issues. If the Tenn o-line holds up they will contend in the east this year.

Hurd is solid. He can do it all and at an All-SEC level. He doesn't have the "wow" factor, though. IOW, his highlight reel is not going to blow anybody's mind.
No clue about Kamara, but any quality back that can take some of the load off Hurd and keep him fresh in the 4th quarter will greatly improve Tennessee's offense.

I think it will be good, the passing game (like most of the time) is going to have to set them up a bit but I think the will do well. both around 1k yards with one not making it, but being close
This is really the year of the 1,2 punch with runningbacks in the SEC
