I wasn't aware of that. That would cripple any OL. What was the problem?

The same way two starting quarterbacks transfer within 6 days of each other 2 weeks before a bowl game. Shitty coaches.

- weren't getting PT
- change in scheme
- didn't like the position coach
- hate corn dogs
- can't understand what HC is saying
- like the occasional and successful forward pass

Honestly hard to say.
--peculiar firing/hiring process
--to start with, coach was fired
--one had academic problems I heard
--probably felt they had better opportunity to play by transferring
--sometimes it just happens

You can expect some transfers after a regime change. Darndest thing, it seemed to all happen to the OL (you know, the absolute strength of an LSU offense).

Look on our board, and you'll find all kinds of [valid] discussion as to that being why we're so bad right now. No line? Can't pass block. Can't pass? They stack the box, and you can't run. Classic LSU hahahaha.

*sighs

Well, O said he was going to be completely transparent about the team, so all you have to do is go watch his press confer...never mind.

Maea Tuhema was the only starter and he transferred because he's a moron and was the only scholarship player that didn't have his grades in order.

For those unaware of the rat-pack mentality of the Tr, OL coach Jeff Grimes is the latest all-purpose blame dolly for the LSU fans. He is preceded by a great many other assistant coaches from Steele to Chavais to xxxxxxx(pick any)

There is not fan base in the US that is more convinced that an assistant coach, even one as far down the pecking order as OL coach, is the cause of all the problems and a new assistant coach hire will lead the faithful to the promise land.

Consider this... last year there was an LSU Offensive line Coach and a Defensive Line Coach... equal status. Now one of them is head coach and the other is the reason the team sucks. Yes... I do find it peculiar.

Maea Teuhema was a starter and somehow couldn't figure out how to make grades his last year. He's a dumbass and screwed himsekf and LSU over (his younger brother was booted a year ago). The rest were young and hadn't played much if any. By themselves they weren't big losses but when you have 4 of them it becomes a huge deal losing all that depth. Why they transferred, a variety of different reasons.

Well I don't know about all that, but I do know that replacing your OC right before the national championship game is a bad idea.

You're spot on. No one thinks hiring the Dline coach is the problem. Not a single person.
